St-Hubert campaign

The St-Hubert Campaign raises the sum of $265,000 thanks to three fundraising activities held in the past months.

 

The Third Edition of "Do, ré, mi, fa, sol, la, si nous étions guéris ..."

The dinner & show, "Do, ré, mi, fa, sol, la si nous étions guéris …" was held on April 28, 2009, at the Cabaret du Casino de Montréal. The well-known Robert Charlebois and his musicians successfully entertained the 375 guest in attendance.

The sum of $100,000 was raised in support of Quebec children with cancer.

The Fondation wishes to single out the generous involvement of Rôtisseries St-Hubert franchisees, suppliers and partners. Special thanks also go out to Vincor and McCain for their invaluable contribution.

Fundraising activities held in rôtisseries St-Hubert

This year, the various fundraising activities held in rotisseries from April 27 to May 17, 2009, collected a total of $106,504.

La Marche pour nos enfants: Quebec-Montreal on foot in aid of children with cancer

From September 5 to 11, 2009, six courageous souls set out on foot to walk the 275 km from Québec City to Montreal as part of the 5th Marche pour nos enfants (Walk for Children). The participants succeeded in raising $59,000, largely surpassing their objective of $40,000. All of the proceeds will be remitted to the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau .

Mr. José Goyette, a franchisee in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu and the event’s chief organizer for a 5th consecutive year, and his five colleagues: Manon Archambault, local marketing coordinator, Lyne Boisvert , communications coordinator, Benoît Villeneuve, a franchisee at the St-Hubert rotisserie in Place Longueuil, and faithful supporters Sébastien Issa et Denis Castonguay. Issa, a franchisee at the Mirabel rotisserie, and Castonguay, a senior R&D advisor, played leading roles in this adventure. Joining the group on the final day were none other than Mr. Jean-Pierre Léger , President and CEO of Groupe St-Hubert Inc., and his daughter, Amélie, director of real estate development and construction.
