This summer, it’s my turn to take the Tour.
Embrace a new challenge, enjoy a spirit of camaraderie, and lend hope for a cure.
The 15th edition of the CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour takes to the roads of Quebec from July 6 to 9, 2010. Spanning a distance of almost 600 kilometres, the tour will see some 20 people from the business community join TVA news anchor, Pierre Bruneau, to support children with cancer in their daily battle.
Thanks to financial support from numerous partners, this major event generated proceeds of $1,025,000 in 2009. In 2010, the challenge is to raise even more!
Pairing based on caring
Each cyclist is paired with a child with cancer and will wear a
photograph of that person over his heart for the duration of the Tour. Pairing
based on caring is a source of motivation for cyclists, who will have the
pleasure of meeting their protegés during the event.
The Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau is an opportunity to share these stories of courage with the community — stories that speak to the importance of investing in pediatric cancer research to achieve the ultimate goal.
