$17.2 million for pediatric oncology research at the Montreal Children’s Hospital
On February 4, 2026, the Charles-Bruneau Foundation and the Montreal Children’s Hospital came together to mark a milestone: a five-year, $17.2 million commitment to the Montreal institution. This major donation is part of the Foundation’s $50 million commitment to Quebec and marks a decisive step forward for pediatric hemato-oncology research, cutting-edge care, and family support. The meeting also provided an opportunity to unveil the new name of the Montreal Children’s Hospital’s Charles-Bruneau Cancer Center, a place with a clear collective ambition: to push the boundaries of science for the benefit of children. At the heart of this commitment, the Montreal Children’s Hospital will actively contribute to the Signature Québec project by developing an innovative and multidisciplinary approach to better understand the origins of pediatric cancer.
