5.8 million and a new record for the 24h Tremblant

This year, the 24h Tremblant reached unprecedented heights of generosity and participation, with more than $5.8 million raised and 4,363 participants taking part. From December 9 to 11, the Charles-Bruneau Foundation celebrated its 20th year of collaboration with this festive event of sport, surpassing oneself and philanthropy at the Mont Tremblant resort and ski area.

“The weekend was simply exceptional in every way. The participants were enthusiastic, the crowd was large and the energy was high. It’s clear that people were happy to renew the tradition and celebrate in a big way after two years where the event was not able to unfold its full potential,” said Simon St-Arnaud, executive producer of the 24h Tremblant. “The sense of pride we feel is immense and we share it with our participants. Their efforts and involvement have an invaluable impact on the children.

On behalf of the children

All proceeds from the event are donated to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation, the CHEO Foundation and the Tremblant Foundation. This edition marks the 20th anniversary of the partnership between the 24h Tremblant and the Charles-Bruneau Foundation. Since 2002, more than $20 million has been donated to research and the fight against pediatric cancers.

“Twenty years of thinking big and making dreams come true for a childhood without cancer is something to celebrate,” exclaimed Pierre Bruneau of the Charles-Bruneau Foundation.

This year, the event was able to count on the support of Sun Life, the event’s new presenting sponsor. It joined other partners who contribute to the success of the 24h Tremblant: Emmi Canada, Tisseur, Helly Hansen, Boréale, PayFacto, L&P Apparel, CGI and Adviso. Not to mention suppliers Stelpro and Omnison.

10 ambassadors and 10 inspiring young heroes

The entire 24h Tremblant team can count on the support of hundreds of volunteers who make the event possible. A huge thank you to the 10 ambassadors of the 2022 edition for their commitment and dedication to the cause. They are the hosts Dominic Arpin, Patricia Boal, Phil Denis, Derick Fage, Philippe Fehmiu, Benoît Gagnon and Frédéric Plante, as well as the athletes Alexandre Bilodeau, Alexandre Despatie and Erik Guay.

In addition to walking, running and skiing for 24 hours, each of these ambassadors sponsored a child, offered their support and highlighted their touching story.

The next edition of the 24h Tremblant will take place in December 2023.
