CIBC BANK IN THE COLORS OF THE TOUR CIBC CHARLES-BRUNEAU

In less than a month, hundreds of cyclists will be taking part in the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau. Many of them are members of the CIBC team, the event’s main partner, proudly committed to the fight against cancer.

A valuable partner for the Charles-Bruneau Foundation

CIBC has been a partner of the Charles-Bruneau Foundation since 2006. Over the past 17 years, Team CIBC has donated more than $10 million to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation. In so doing, CIBC reaffirms its desire to make a difference in Quebec communities, notably by contributing to and getting involved in the fight against cancer. CIBC’s ambition is to create a future where no one has to fear a cancer diagnosis. And it’s by working together with organizations like the Charles-Bruneau Foundation that it intend to do just that.

Committed employees

When you visit one of our Quebec branches, you’ll notice the efforts made by CIBC and its employees. In addition to dressing up the facades of certain branches and selling raffle tickets, other activities benefiting the Charles-Bruneau Foundation are also organized.

Employee commitment is at the heart of the success of the partnership between CIBC and the Charles-Bruneau Foundation. Their remarkable efforts enable their employer to donate significant amounts to a cause close to its heart.

This year, 101 cyclists and 234 supporters will take part in CIBC’s fundraising efforts. The amount donated by each team will be announced at the event’s final ceremony on July 7 in Boucherville.

A new addition to Team CIBC

This year’s Team CIBC cyclists welcome a new recruit: Lysanne Richard. First known to the public as an international high-flying diving champion, she is also a circus performer, blogger and columnist, as well as having appeared on the popular TV show Big Brother Célébrités. For the very first time this year, she will be riding with Team CIBC cyclists on the Découverte de Boucherville – 50 km course. She’s sure to motivate the cyclists and spread the word about the event via her social networks.
