Doyle has big dreams for our children

This year, Doyle optometrists and opticians, through the success of their Atelier 78 frame sales, donated $30,000 to the Fondation Charles-Bruneau as part of their Un Élan de générosité pour la recherche campaign. This initiative will help finance a pair of research projects that will have a significant impact on the health and well-being of Quebec children with cancer.

With this major contribution, Doyle joins the ranks of the Fondation Charles-Bruneau’s leading donors, with a sum of more than $90,000 raised since 2014. This effort is a source of great pride to the family-run company, which places the interests of its community and team members at the heart of its decisions.

The partnership between Doyle and the Fondation Charles-Bruneau dates back to 2014, when Jade Pauzé, an employee at the company’s head office, learned that her daughter, Lily Rose, had been diagnosed with a brain tumour in the optic nerve.

Given that children’s health is a cause that’s close to the heart of each member of the Doyle team, the decision to contribute to the Fondation Charles-Bruneau and thus support Jade and her daughter through their difficult ordeal was unanimous.

Each year, the story of Jade and Lily Rose Doyle inspires Doyle opticians and in-store employees to mobilize in support of the cause. In fact, several members of the team have visited the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau at CHU Sainte-Justine. In doing so, they were able to see first-hand how their commitment has had a positive and promising impact on the lives of families directly affected by pediatric cancer.

A heartfelt thanks goes out to Doyle and its employees for thinking big on behalf of our children.

For each Atelier78 frame sold, Doyle remits $10 to the Fondation Charles-Bruneau.
