Registration are now open for the 11th edition of the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau

The 11th edition of the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau presented by Pelican and Cascades will take place on September 14 and 15, 2024! For the occasion, a promotion will give the first registrants a chance to get their hands on a very special gift.

 

5 courses, 2 days, 1 cause

This year, participants can sign up for :

  • Saturday – Le Classique (34 km)

Departing from Laval, ride with us down Rivière des Prairies to the eastern tip of Montreal Island. After lunch, head upstream to reach the Îles-de-Boucherville national park. You might even catch a glimpse of beaver dams and bald eagle nests!

  • Saturday – Le Petit bleu (9.5 km)

The tour de l’île Charron offers a magnificent mixed route combining the natural beauty of the Îles-de-Boucherville with a splendid view of Montreal. Impressive scenery is followed by a breathtaking passage under the Lafontaine bridge and above the tunnel of the same name.

  • Sunday – Le Classique (25 km)

Nicknamed the six bridges route, this itinerary begins in the Verdun borough. Sailing around Nuns’ Island on the La Prairie Basin, you’ll have the chance to venture under the six bridges that mark the southern boundary of the island: l’Estacade, Samuel-De Champlain, Victoria, de la Concorde, Jacques-Cartier and Lafontaine. A unique experience and a breathtaking view of the heart of Montreal and Parc Jean-Drapeau.

  • Sunday – Le Petit bleu (8 km)

For a second edition, the Circuit bleu offers a short 8 km itinerary for getting to grips with paddle sports, or simply enjoying the day more leisurely. Dive with us into the natural meanders of the magnificent Îles-de-Boucherville National Park before returning to the finish site for the grand final ceremony.

  • Sunday – Le Petit bleu (13 km)

In the heart of the Îles-de-Boucherville, this year’s Petit bleu offers a tour of Île Grosbois, renowned for its lush flora and fauna. Keep your eyes peeled for beaver dams and bald eagle nests! Immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of nature, just a stone’s throw from Montreal.

The Charles-Bruneau Foundation is very grateful to be able to count on the invaluable collaboration of the two official presenters of the 11th edition of the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau: Pelican and Cascades.

Returning for a fourth consecutive year, Pelican is a loyal ally, rallying its team members around the cause. A regular participant in the Circuit bleu Charles-Bruneau, the Cascades team brought together more than 50 participants for the 10th edition. It’s a pleasure to welcome them this year as co-presenters of the event!
