Return of the Durs à cuire campaign: tattoos and a virtual game of “Search and Find” imagined by children

It’s the return of the Durs à cuire campaign, presented by IGA! Once again this year, children suffering from or in remission from cancer have participated in the creation of cute characters that have been transformed into temporary tattoos.

Olivia’s cake, Charles’ cauliflower, Eva’s raspberry and Jacob’s apple will be available at IGA stores in Quebec and New Brunswick from June 1 to 21, 2023.

The virtual game of “Hunt and Seek

The delicious characters transformed into temporary tattoos were then hidden in a virtual game of “Search and Find”. Donors can have fun finding them through a magnificent decor imagined and designed by the children, in collaboration with illustrator Audrey Malo.

The young artists took part in a special shoot where they were able to collaborate with the creative team. They inspired and created their hero’s voice, the set and the game’s soundtrack.

In addition to the four new tattoos, you’ll be able to find other characters, including those imagined by the children who took part in the last three editions of the campaign!

On sale until June 21

Each of the two sheets featuring ten tattoos, including those created by children with or in remission from cancer, are available for $3 each at IGA stores in Quebec and New Brunswick until June 21. The QR code on the back of the tattoo sheet allows you to play the game directly. The money raised will be donated to the Charles-Bruneau Foundation. For more information: dursacuire.ca

Last year, the sale of Durs à cuire tattoos raised $400,000 for a childhood without cancer. Thank you to IGA and to all our donors for believing, as we do, in a childhood without cancer.
